Greater than 170 individuals had been evacuated from a lodge within the early hours this morning after a hearth broke out within the kitchen.
4 fireplace engines and round 25 firefighters tackled the blaze in Nice Suffolk Avenue, Southwark at round 5.20am.
Company staying on the lodge managed to flee the constructing earlier than firefighters arrived on the scene and there have been no studies of any accidents.
Crews from Dowgate, Dockhead and Lambeth fireplace stations introduced the fireplace below management by round 6am.
The incident is believed to have been brought on by {an electrical} fault within the kitchen.
